A spanking good time

Saturday -January 27, 2007
Noon- 2PM
Subject BDSM

The knowledge and beautiful professional Dom - Maestra Sadie Dusaga, the hot and sweet new submissive - Raina Bird, funny long-time switch - Spike, the ever sexy Burlesque performer - Lady Monster, and I had a great conversation about Bondage, Discipline, Sadism and Masochism.

BDSM - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BDSM

We talked about safety, when spanking, for bondage, and in general when meeting a new
playmate. We gave the 101 on how to get into BDSM.

A few places where you could get resources or take classes are:
- San Francisco Sex Information (415-989-SFSI, 3 p.m.-9 p.m., www.sfsi.org)
- Good Vibrations (www.goodvibes.com)
- he Center for Sex and Culture (www.centerforsexandculture.com)
- The Society of Janus (www.soj.org)
- QSM (550-7776, www.qualitysm.com)

We discussed good and bad motivations for getting into BDSM, terms you need to know, negotiation, and safe words.

We also laughed, told stories, talked about a few of our favourite things, and played a lot of sexy songs (Sadie and LadyMonster - kept handing me CDs so I'm not sure all that was played).

Basically a great and educational time was had, and I bought a kitty face riding crop after.

Read a book!

Saturday - January 20th, 2007

I had on the show
V.Vale of ReSearch Publishing- http://www.researchpubs.com/
Jennifer Joseph of Manic D Press- http://www.manicdpress.com/

-- Wow, they rock - Vale the documentary/ historian of so much SF counter culture and Jennifer Joseph, who has encouraged so many writers and musicians too - I found out. We talked about so many topics: books and beyond - the history of the draft, the effect the internet has on book sales, parenting, pranks, punk rock, HealthCare...
--- I did get a bit sad and pissed off reading the story of Bush new proposed HealthCare changes (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070120/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush_2&printer=1), when I thought about what effect they may have negatively on my clients - if they cut free

Vale talked alot about his "Pranks" book series and played some of a soundtrack he made for a political twisted - Wizzard of Oz themed animation that went to Sundance.

And Jennifer talked about Manic D's "History of the Military Draft Handbook", which gives tips or avoiding the draft, and played poetry CDs.

We encouraged people to volunteer for Project Open Hands (http://www.openhand.org/) and about HPV vacinations at Planned Parenthood as PSAs

Along with Vale's music and Manic D poets poems - we played:
"A Jazz Day" by AttaBoy & Burke
"Golden Age of Hustlers" - Bambi Lake
"Old School, New School"- Tribe 8
